Summary
We have received several emails about the problem sending Arabic emails from hotmail account in BlackBerry device which sends question marks like this ??? ?? ?? ?.
Our site solved this problem
and here is the solution:
1- go to your Browser
2- click in the Blackberry icon
3- click Options
4- click in Browser Configuration
5- go to Browser Identification
6- change it from BalckBerry to Internet Explorer
7- Save the changes when you will do escape button
8- then just delete your hotmail account by going to E-mail Settings from Setup Folder, after that add it again.
9- If you want .....Go from step 1 to step 5 and change it to BlackBerry

Now you are ready to recieve and send arabic emails from your hotmail account without any problem.

did you do step 8 ?
because if you did it from step 1 to 7 no changes will appear till you delete your accounts then add it again.
it works for every body I think it should work for you. check again.
if its not, tell me your phone details.

I tried all steps .. same problem
I have bold 9000 with OS 5.0
it didn't work my friend ,,, its a problem with hotmail server , it has something to do with the server's encoding .!!

Consisting of:
* Applications: 5.0.0.681

and I do 1 to step 8 it's same Issue
actually I was checking this matter with hotmail team but they are sure its from blackberry software itself.
afterthat, I got this solution, I tried it myself!!!!
We tried this solution in bold 9000 devices only.
(No Idea about other devices)
As we think, by following our steps it should work.
i tried but there is a lock in the Browser Identification (BlackBerry)
what that's for
Lock!!!!
press on (blackberry) and then it will show you
1- Blackberry
2-Firefox
3-Internet Explorer
choose third one
till me if its changing or not?
I was trying this solution again by myself and I got the problem again
the device.
I cannot solve this issue because some thing happened to the browser itself, when am chamging it suddenly all the settings will return back to normal while adding email again.
its controled by etisalat.
I mean the internet.
so, when ever you are going to browser and trying to add your email it will recognize that you have blackberry device.
I promise every body that, we will find another solution.
uses should not have to go through steps like this every time there is a software update. Keep life simple and start using GMail.
BTW i tried it, but it didn't work. No more hotmail! use GMail, it will send you emails on time, and without ANY errors.
still I have the same issue with hotmail only

Hello, I tried it 3 times and still the problem hasn't resolved. I have Mini Bold 9700.

I'm sorry to say that: this solution was working fine before. Recently: not working due issue with Etisalat ( while you are trying to change settings and after save it, it will come back to the previous settings. It means: there is no effect! Im sorry about that, I will post in the future if there is any update, Promise.
One of the guys was asking about video describing this solution, am sorry but I didn't do.
