سرقة محطة وقود تحت تهديد السلاح في الشارقة

أكدت شرطة الشارقة أن رجلين ملثمين قاموا بإقتحام محطة وقود تابعة لشركة إمارات في الساعات الأولى من صباح يوم الخميس الموافق 23/06/2011 وقاموا بسرقة ثمانين ألف درهم تحت تهديد السلاح.

ووقع الحادث في إمارة الشارقة في المنطقة الصناعية الخامسة خلف نادي الشارقة في حوالي الساعة 4 فجراً.

وقال مسئول في الشرطة أنه لم تجر أي إعتقالات حتى الآن وأن القضية قيد التحقيق.

قال أحد الموظفين في المتجر : ( قام أحد الملثمين بتصويب المسدس نحو زميلي وأمروه بفتح الخزنة كما قام ملثم آخر بحراسة الباب 

حدثت السرقة بسرعة جدا واستغرق الأمر منهم أقل من ثلاث دقائق للحصول على المال والهرب.

أما الشرطة فقد وصلت بعد خمس دقائق من مغادرة الملثمين.

The robbery took place at the petrol station located at Sharjah Industrial Area 5, behind Sharjah Club, at about 4am.
A police official said that no arrests had been made yet and that the case is under investigation.
"One man quickly came in, pointed a gun at my colleague and ordered him to open the safe. While this was happening, another masked man stood at the door and was guarding the place," said an employee at the store.

The robbery happened very quickly and it took them less than three minutes to get the money and escape.
"The police arrived five minutes after the masked men left," he said.

واطلع لافوينتي والوفد المرافق له خلال زيارته للهيئة من كبار المسؤولين بالهيئة على ما تم انجازه في الحملة التي أطلقتها الهيئة في مارس 2010 بهدف التعريف بالخصائص الطبيعية المتفردة لجزيرة بوطينة لتشجيع الناس على التصويت لصالحها لتكون واحدة من بين عجائب الطبيعة السبع الجديدة.

وأشاد مدير المنظمة ـ التي تتخذ من سويسرا مقرا لها ـ بالحملة التي نجحت في جذب المهتمين للتصويت للجزيرة وزيادة الوعي بالتنوع البيولوجي الغني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

Abu Dhabi: More than 1 billion votes are expected from people in 220 nations across the world in a global contest to find "New Seven Wonders of Nature", an official said in the capital on Thursday.

Jean Paul de la Fuente, Director of Switzerland based New 7 Wonders (N7W) Foundation, said at a media briefing that it is a rare contest with the participation of people from almost all countries on earth.
He was in the capital to meet senior manager of Environment Agency -Abu Dhabi to discuss the UAE's campaign for Bu Tinah Island to be voted as the seven winners of the global ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature' contest.
Bu Tinah Island , part of Marawah Marine Biosphere Reserve in Al Gharbia in Abu Dhabi has been short listed as one of the finalists in the international competition. There are 27 other candidates, including Galapagos Islands and Great Barrier Reef, and the global vote ends in November this year.

Mobile Back-up simply saves the mobile phone’s data in a secure manner to Etisalat’s mobile back-up system, enabling customers to restore and re-edit their saved data on their new or existing phones or transfer data between devices anytime that is convenient to them. Moreover, customers can enjoy the extra benefit of the service that lets them lock or wipe out the information on their mobile phones, in case of theft or loss and can re-load it to their new or replaced mobile phones, depending on the compatibility of the mobile handset.
The service enables customers to access all their mobile data through a secure Internet website. Customers also have the flexibility to opt for an auto back-up of their data, in regular intervals. Customers subscribing to the service will receive a link to download the service client for free on to their mobile devices, along with a unique user id and password. Upon installation, the phone is ready to back up and restore data and customers can start using the service instantly from the “MyBackup“ client.

إعصار فيت يقترب من سواحل سلطنة عمان

اقتربت العاصفة المدارية فيت من شواطئ سلطنة عمان وزادت قوتها بصورة سريعة مقتربة من مستوى أعاصير الفئة الخامسة

ويفيد موقع لمراقبة الاعاصير على الانترنت بأنه ليس من المتوقع أن تنتقل العاصفة الى اليابسة في عمان وانما ستسير بمحاذاة شواطئ السلطنة قبل أن تتحرك في اتجاه الشمال الشرقي صوب باكستان

واشار بيان أصدرته هيئة الأرصاد الجوية –نقلت وكالة الأنباء الفرنسية مقتطفات منه- إن الإعصار فيت يبعد حاليا عن جزيرة مُصيرة العمانية إلى الجنوب من مسقط 325 كيلومترا تقريبا في حين تبعد اقرب كتلة للسحب الركامية المصاحبة له حوالى 150 كيلومترا تقريبا وتقدر سرعة الرياح حول مركز الإعصار بحوالى 150 كلم في الساعة

وسيبتعد إعصار فيت عن مياه الخليج ومضيق هرمز الذي يمر منه 40 في المئة من جميع شحنات النفط البحرية في العالم أو نحو 17 مليون برميل يومياوتشير توقعات الأرصاد الجوية الى تغير حركة مركز الإعصار لاحقا نحو الشمال الشرقي باتجاه السواحل الهندية والباكستانية، ومن المتوقع ان تمتد السحب الركامية المصاحبة للاعصار لتؤثر على جزيرة مصيرة ورأس مدركة والمنطقة الشرقية للسلطنة بأمطار شديدة الغزارة ورياح عاصفة عند مرور مركز الاعصار بالقرب من سواحل المنطقة الشرقية يومي الخميس والجمعة. ومن المتوقع أن يضعف قبيل انتقاله الى اليابسة جنوبي كراتشي حيث ستبلغ قوته ثلاث درجات يوم الاحد

وصُنف الإعصار في خانة أعاصير الدرجة الثالثة يوم الأربعاء إذ زادت سرعة رياحه على 200 كيلومتر في الساعة. ومن المتوقع أن يصل الى الدرجة الخامسة وهي أقوى درجة وتصل فيها سرعة الرياح الى 250 كيلومترا في الساعة وذلك خلال الساعات الاربع والعشرين القادمة

وقد بدأت السلطات العمانية عمليات إجلاء عدد من سكان المناطق الساحلية، لا سيما الجزر، ودعوة عدد من سكان هذه المناطق أيضا إلى الذهاب إلى أماكن أكثر بعدا عن السواحل وأيضا ممن تقع منازلهم بالقرب من مجاري الأودية، حسب مصادر رسمية

وتتحرك معظم صادرات النفط العمانية من مرافئ ميناء الفحل قرب العاصمة مسقط. ومن المتوقع أن يتحول اتجاه الاعصار للشمال الشرقي قبل الوصول الى مسقطوقال متحدث باسم شركة عمان للغاز الطبيعي المسال ان عملياتها لم تتأثر حتى الان

ومنشآت انتاج الغاز الطبيعي المسال الثلاث موجودة في مدينة صور في المنطقة الشرقية على مقربة من مسار الاعصار. وهذه المنطقة هي أيضا الموطن الاصلي للسلحفاة الخضراء العمانية

Muscat: Tropical Cyclone Phet barrelled towards the coast of the Gulf Arab state of Oman on Wednesday, strengthening fast and forecast to become a powerful Category 5 storm.

Phet is expected to reach Oman in 30 to 36 hours, said Professor Mark Saunders, lead scientist and project manager at Tropical Storm Risk, a University College of London department.
"It will strike land as a super cyclonic storm with a speed of over 130 miles (210 km) per hour, and either Category 4 or 5," Saunders told Reuters by telephone.
A storm that powerful would be strong enough to damage buildings, pull down trees and damage infrastructure, he said.
State television said the government had ordered police and the air force to evacuate people from eastern Oman, where waves were 8 metres (26 feet) high. National carrier Oman Air said it had cancelled two flights so that aircraft could evacuate people from Masirah island off the east coast.
The storm is stronger than Cyclone Gonu, which killed at least 54 people in Oman and Iran in 2007, Saunders said.
Phet will move inland over eastern Oman before re-emerging over the north Indian Ocean and roaring on to Pakistan, according to Tropical Storm Risk forecasts shown on website www.tropicalstormrisk.com.
The cyclone will steer east of the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, used by ships carrying 17 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil, 40 percent of all seaborne oil, and may disrupt shipping moving from the Gulf towards the Indian Ocean.
Phet strengthened to a Category 4 storm earlier in the day, with sustained winds of over 143 mph. It was expected to become a Category 5 storm, the most powerful category with winds of over 156 mph, in the next 12 hours.
It will move through eastern Oman on Friday and then head northeast, probably weakening to a tropical storm before coming ashore again near Ormara in Pakistan on Sunday.
Most Omani oil exports move from Mina Al Fahal port near the capital Muscat. The storm should turn northeast before reaching Muscat, but hurricane-strength winds are likely in the capital.
Operations at Oman LNG, the liquefied natural gas export facility, are so far unaffected, "but we are in touch with the authorities to see if there will be any change," Nasser al-Kindy, head of Oman LNG corporate communications, told Reuters.
The three LNG production facilities, known as trains, are in Sur in the east, close to the path of the storm. They produce about 8 million tonnes per year of LNG.
The east is also home to Oman's protected green back turtle.

Migration to the end-to-end HD platform, which spans production, playout and archiving, is scheduled to be complete by June 2010.

The new center will enable Abu Dhabi TV to become the first broadcaster in the Middle East to implement an end-to-end tapeless HD production platform. "The technology in our new center will enable a streamlined, file-based workflow and a range of new operational efficiencies," said Ahmed Al Menhali, director of broadcast technology, ADMC. "By embracing new products and innovations, ADMC continues to be a leader in production and broadcast technology."
The new center will employ a file-based, integrated Harris ONE™ workflow solution, including Harris® Invenio digital asset management products, ADC™ playout automation and NEXIO® server systems. The Invenio system will form the core of the new center's archive digital asset management system, which includes all content. The ADC automation will work with the Invenio system to manage ingest, preparation and playout of content. Both the Invenio and ADC solutions will be tightly integrated with the Harris Broadcast Master™ scheduling and sales system that is already in-use at ADMC. ADMC also is using Invenio and ADC software in its master control and transmission facility.
A NEXIO server domain, including NEXIO AMP® and NEXIO Volt™ servers, will be installed at each of ADMC's HD studios that comprise the playout center. The NEXIO server system features global proxy file support for the creation of low-resolution files, a collaborative development between the NEXIO and Invenio product lines.

The Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) has announced that from today all rental/lease contracts for Dubai properties must be registered through its new Ejari online portal. The announcement makes effective the provisions of Law No.26 of 2007 Regulating the Relationship between Tenants and Landlords in Dubai and requires all individuals and companies acting as landlords to register tenancy agreements.

Landlords and tenants who fail to comply with the new ruling will find that their tenancy agreements fall outside the protection offered by the law and Government agencies and will not be able to enforce the provisions of the agreements they enter into.

The Law clearly states, "Judicial bodies and governmental departments and authorities should not consider any claim, case or execution based on a tenancy contract unless the same is registered with the Agency."
Announcing the new ruling and the full activation of Ejari, its state-of-the-art online registration system, RERA formally called on everyone involved in drawing up and entering into such contracts to ensure full compliance and avoid violation.

وأشار العضو المنتدب: "سوف يتمكن متعاملي الهيئة عند استخدام تطبيقات الهيئة في جهاز الآي فون من إرسال الشكاوي والإقتراحات، مع خاصية إرفاق لقطة فوتوغرافية مع الإحداثيات الجغرافية للموقع كما يمكنهم الإستعلام عن فواتير الإستهلاك للخدمات المقدمة من قبل الهيئة كخدمة دفع فواتير الكهرباء، والمياه، والصرف الصحي، ورسوم السكن عن طريق خدمة الدفع من خلال الهاتف المتحرك (أم باي) المقدمة بالتعاون حكومة دبي الإلكترونية".

وأشار المهندس مروان ســالم بن حيدر - نائب الرئيس - رئيس تقنية المعلومات بالهيئة بقوله "لقد بذل فريق عمل قطاع تقنية المعلومات الجهد الكبير كي يتمكن المتعامل من الحصول على أحدث الأخبار والمعلومات المتعلقة بالهيئة عن طريق نقل أخبار وإنجازات الهيئة ونشر أحدث الخدمات فيها، وبث أحداث فعالياتها مع إمكانية مشاهدة لقطات الفيديو التثقيفية لزيادة الوعي المجتمعي فيما يتعلق بترشيد إستهلاك الكهرباء والمياه".

وأردف: "كما سيتمكن متعاملي الهيئة من تحميل هذه التطبيقات مجاناً من متاجر أبل وستقوم الهيئة بإشعار متعامليها بذلك عبر رسائل البريد الإلكتروني والرسائل النصية خلال الأسابيع القادمة".

وتعد هذه الخدمة الجديدة جزءاً من إستراتيجية الهيئة التي تهدف إلى منح متعامليها الإستفادة من خدماتها المختلفة كما وسيتم قريبا اطلاق البرنامج نفسه على جهاز بلاك بيري

Within the continued efforts spent by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to provide the best e-services and introduce them to its customers, to save their time and effort and to facilitate their transactions with DEWA.

The information technology work team , has spent a considerable efforts to enable the customers to receive the latest news and information related to DEWA through the transfer of DEWA news and achievements and publications of latest events with a chance to see the the education video shots to enhance the society awarness with regard to rationalization of electricity and water consumption.
DEWA customers, will be able to download these applications for free , from Apple stores and DEWA will notify its employees thereof, via e-mails and SMS, during the coming weeks."
