سرقة محطة وقود تحت تهديد السلاح في الشارقة

أكدت شرطة الشارقة أن رجلين ملثمين قاموا بإقتحام محطة وقود تابعة لشركة إمارات في الساعات الأولى من صباح يوم الخميس الموافق 23/06/2011 وقاموا بسرقة ثمانين ألف درهم تحت تهديد السلاح.

ووقع الحادث في إمارة الشارقة في المنطقة الصناعية الخامسة خلف نادي الشارقة في حوالي الساعة 4 فجراً.

وقال مسئول في الشرطة أنه لم تجر أي إعتقالات حتى الآن وأن القضية قيد التحقيق.

قال أحد الموظفين في المتجر : ( قام أحد الملثمين بتصويب المسدس نحو زميلي وأمروه بفتح الخزنة كما قام ملثم آخر بحراسة الباب 

حدثت السرقة بسرعة جدا واستغرق الأمر منهم أقل من ثلاث دقائق للحصول على المال والهرب.

أما الشرطة فقد وصلت بعد خمس دقائق من مغادرة الملثمين.

Sharjah: Two masked men stormed a convenience store at an Emarat petrol station in the wee hours of Thursday and robbed Dh80,000 at gunpoint, Sharjah Police confirmed.

The robbery took place at the petrol station located at Sharjah Industrial Area 5, behind Sharjah Club, at about 4am.
A police official said that no arrests had been made yet and that the case is under investigation.
"One man quickly came in, pointed a gun at my colleague and ordered him to open the safe. While this was happening, another masked man stood at the door and was guarding the place," said an employee at the store.

The robbery happened very quickly and it took them less than three minutes to get the money and escape.
"The police arrived five minutes after the masked men left," he said.

تأهلت جزيرة بوطينة للمرحلة النهائية من مسابقة عجائب الطبيعة السبع الجديدة .

وتكون جزيرة بوطينة التي تعد جزءا من محمية مروح للمحيط الحيوي بالمنطقة الغربية.. بذلك من بين 28 جهة مرشحة تم اختيارها جنبا إلى جنب مع العديد من الرموز الطبيعية المعروفة في العالم مثل الحاجز المرجاني العظيم وجزر غالاباغوس.

وذكرت هيئة البيئة – أبوظبي اليوم خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقدته اليوم بحضور الدكتور جابر الجابري نائب الأمين العام بالهيئة وجان بول دي لا فوينتي مدير ورئيس وفد منظمة عجائب الطبيعة السبع الجديدة ان الإعلان النهائي عن عجائب الطبيعة السبع الجديدة سيتم في شهر نوفمبر القادم.

واطلع لافوينتي والوفد المرافق له خلال زيارته للهيئة من كبار المسؤولين بالهيئة على ما تم انجازه في الحملة التي أطلقتها الهيئة في مارس 2010 بهدف التعريف بالخصائص الطبيعية المتفردة لجزيرة بوطينة لتشجيع الناس على التصويت لصالحها لتكون واحدة من بين عجائب الطبيعة السبع الجديدة.

وأشاد مدير المنظمة ـ التي تتخذ من سويسرا مقرا لها ـ بالحملة التي نجحت في جذب المهتمين للتصويت للجزيرة وزيادة الوعي بالتنوع البيولوجي الغني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

كما أطلع لافوينتي على الجهود التي تبذلها الهيئة لإدارة محمية مروح التي تقع فيها جزيرة بوطينة والتي تعتبر مأوى لأعلى كثافة من أبقار البحر في العالم .. كما تأوي أعدادا كبيرة من سلاحف منقار الصقر المهددة بالانقراض.

وطالبت الهيئة الجميع من مواطنين ومقيمين التصويت لجزيرة بوطينة عن طريق إرسال رسالة نصية قصيرة تحتوي على كلمة "بوطينة" إلى الرقم 3888 أو التصويت عبر الموقع الإلكتروني www.butinah.com

Abu Dhabi: More than 1 billion votes are expected from people in 220 nations across the world in a global contest to find "New Seven Wonders of Nature", an official said in the capital on Thursday.

Jean Paul de la Fuente, Director of Switzerland based New 7 Wonders (N7W) Foundation, said at a media briefing that it is a rare contest with the participation of people from almost all countries on earth.
He was in the capital to meet senior manager of Environment Agency -Abu Dhabi to discuss the UAE's campaign for Bu Tinah Island to be voted as the seven winners of the global ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature' contest.
Bu Tinah Island , part of Marawah Marine Biosphere Reserve in Al Gharbia in Abu Dhabi has been short listed as one of the finalists in the international competition. There are 27 other candidates, including Galapagos Islands and Great Barrier Reef, and the global vote ends in November this year.
Fuente said the competition to find the seven winners was ‘wide open', and called on people in the UAE to support Bu Tinah.
